Will Wright's tips for starting a project
1. Give yourself time to reflect - don’t immediately get excited about a new project. 2. Do research - cast a wide net into different fields. 3. Enjoy being obsessive - it will spread to others working on the project. 4. Aim to change your audience.
Smells
I still get caught off guard by how connected our memories and senses are. I was hanging out with a group of people, and one of the girls was wearing the same perfume that an old girlfriend of mine used to wear, and a tidal wave of memories hit me.
Anyone, if they are inspired enough, will acquire the skills to do something.
